São Paulo, Brazil — July 30, 2026 — As SOLACI & SBHCI 2026 approaches its conclusion, Vivolight Medical is celebrating a successful first appearance at one of Latin America’s leading interventional cardiology congresses.
The debut represents an important milestone in Vivolight’s continued expansion across Latin America. With its intravascular OCT technology already entering several markets in the region, the company is strengthening its engagement with local physicians, distributors, and industry partners and demonstrating its long-term commitment to the Latin American market.
From the opening day, Vivolight’s Booth 57 welcomed a steady stream of interventional cardiologists, distributors, and potential partners. Hands-on demonstrations and clinical discussions created a lively atmosphere, with visitors showing strong interest in image-guided PCI, complex lesion assessment, and the practical application of intravascular OCT in daily clinical workflows.

At the center of the booth was the P80 Multimodal OCT Imaging System, developed to provide high-resolution intravascular imaging and integrated lesion assessment for PCI planning and optimization.
Beyond image acquisition, the P80 offers a range of clinically oriented functions, including OCT-derived FFR, automated plaque assessment, quantitative calcium evaluation, angiography and OCT co-registration, and stent assessment. These tools help physicians evaluate lesion morphology and functional significance, identify calcification, select appropriate treatment strategies, and assess procedural outcomes within a streamlined workflow. By combining morphological, functional, and quantitative information, the P80 supports more informed and efficient PCI decision-making.
Vivolight also shared its latest AI OCT concept, designed as an additional workflow-assistance tool. Its OCT-specific algorithms are being developed to support automated segmentation, plaque and calcium characterization, stent evaluation, and quantitative data organization. Rather than replacing established OCT functions or clinical judgment, AI is intended to help physicians interpret increasingly complex imaging information more efficiently and consistently.

During the congress, Vivolight also introduced visitors to the FastErazer 355 nm Cold Laser Atherectomy System, which recently received NMPA approval in China. Designed for the treatment of lower-limb arterial stenotic and occlusive lesions, including in-stent restenosis, FastErazer expands Vivolight’s portfolio from intravascular diagnosis to vascular lesion treatment.
The introduction of FastErazer at SOLACI marks a further step in Vivolight's strategy to build a comprehensive interventional toolkit: from OCT-guided lesion assessment and treatment planning to laser-based vascular preparation and procedural optimization.
As the congress draws to a close, the enthusiastic response to Vivolight’s first SOLACI appearance has reinforced the company’s confidence in Latin America. Building on its growing OCT presence in Chile and Mexico, Vivolight will continue working with local physicians and partners to expand access to advanced image-guided interventional technologies across Latin America.
